Helping Mothers Survive Training Program

We are proud to announce our new initiative to Master train Helping Mothers Survive in the Unites States. We are working with Project C.U. R. E. and Jhpiego to bring Helping Mothers Survive an evidence-based suite of learning modules to health professionals working in resource poor settings. Our first training will be in May with a core of medical professionals that will then implement national master trainings. Our goal is to have many qualified trainers that can go into the field to teach Helping Mothers Survive.

Our first Master Training of the Bleeding After Birth program will be in Chicago on September 29th and 30th - Click here to apply

The Lancet 2016 Maternal Health Series reports that the maternal health gap between nations is growing in Sub Saharan Africa, women's lifetime risk of dying during pregnancy or childbirth is 1 in 36, compared to 1 in 4,900 in high income countries. Vital Health Africa is educating medical professionals to help detect, prevent and manage the leading causes of maternal and newborn deaths.
